What's your Potential?
Through the dedication and diligent practice of the whole Yogic System including the Yamas (universal moral commandments), and Niyamas (self-purification and continuous attachment to the supreme Reality) a blessed yoga teacher may rise to guru enlightenment.
A guru is an accomplished and outstanding teacher with one goal in mind. He wants to help YOU achieve the same health and state of being that he has been graced with and enjoys. Nothing will stop the guru from delivering this to his students. The students are a guru's lineage and the passers of the torch to the next important generation of healers.
Brian may be far from "true guru status" but can give you a point in the right direction. Passing on the gifts and benefits of yoga to another person in need is the best way one may give back to a great teacher.
